  Good morning PHF! As you know we have incorporated more options for resistance exercises in some of our group classes!  We still offer our original Cycle program upon which PHF was built but now in addition we offer Barbell Cycle and Hybrid Cycle.  All of our coaches know, understand and coach the importance of resistance training but sometimes its better to hear it from someone else! We just started a new 8 week Cycle and we are SO excited to see how amazing everyone looks and feels when it’s over!  Our program has evolved over these past five years from a 7 week cycle to an 8 week cycle and now includes a full line of gym equipment, Spinning, Strong by Zumba, Boxing, Butts and Guts, Strength and every single other bootcamp style class we offer. Cycle has always been based on improving your nutritional choices, your daily life habits and your workout program but now includes so much more.  Our goal is to offer every avenue available to reach fitness success!

Lemon & Thyme Chicken Ingredients • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes • Zest from ½ lemon • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice • 1 tsp. fresh thyme, diced • ½- 1 Tbsp. olive oil • ¼ tsp. kosher salt • ¼ tsp. fresh ground pepper • 1 small garlic clove, minced   Instructions • Mix lemon zest, lemon juice, thyme, oil, salt, pepper and garlic together in a small bowl. Pour over chicken cubes and toss until coated. • Bake on baking sheet for about 20 minutes at 400ºF.     Cajun Rub Chicken   Ingredients • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes • ½ tsp. paprika • ½ tsp. garlic powder • ½ tsp. onion powder • ½ tsp. We talk a lot about our clients and their amazing fitness and life journeys but we rarely mention our journey as a fitness center.  PHF was started with REAL fitness in mind.  The reality of fitness and what it really takes to change your life.  PHF has always encouraged changes one step at a time and celebrated each one of those steps.  As we have grown from a living room to a fully equipped fitness center, we have always kept the reality of the journey in mind.  The struggle is real, despite what you see on social media.  Fitness is hard, really hard.  It requires a true desire to make yourself a better person, even if that is only one less chocolate at a time. The journey of our small place is still just beginning and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the next few years bring.
