Athletes from the Powerlifting programs and the MooreMuscle Barbell Club put on a display at the USPA Drug Tested National Championships this past weekend.
Each year, the United States Powerlifting Association puts on a competition between the best of the best natural powerlifters in their ranks in the Drug Tested National Championships. This past Memorial Day weekend, nearly 900 powerlifters invaded Atlanta Georgia and filled the Westin Peachtree Hotel will camaraderie, fun, great vendors and monstrous displays of strength.
Members of PHF and the MooreMuscle Barbell Club were lucky enough to qualify and compete at this event and their performances did not disappoint. Emily Douglas, Bob Moore, Josh Guy and Adam Moore left the weekend with three National Champion Titles and multiple World, National and Maryland State Records. More than that, they left an impression on the meet directors, judges and their fellow athletes by supporting other competitors in the warm-up area, cheering for those lifting against them and creating friendships that will last a lifetime.
When our powerlifters graduate from the program classes to the platform, they bring with them the reputation and energy of the incredible environment that is Priority Health and Fitness. While the athletes from PHF and the MooreMuscle Barbell Club always bring home a lot of success, they always leave a positive reputation behind.
In or out of the gym doors, the goal of PHF and the MooreMuscle Barbell Club is to progress the positivity of fitness and the idea that no matter what level of fitness you are trying to achieve, everyone is going in the same direction. Be positive, be supportive and always give 100%.
