I started my fitness journey in 2014. I was tired, out of shape, and knew I had to make a change. That’s when I found Priority Health and Fitness and the rest, as they say, is history. I began regular, challenging, group-based workouts along with some resistance training coupled with healthy eating habits to go along with my new physical endeavors to change myself for the better.
After a year of training at PHF I decided to become a certified personal trainer and obtained my ACE certification. I wanted to be able to give back to the people and community that had supported me while I was working on my own fitness goals. I know how difficult it is to change yourself and your habits and start a brand new lifestyle. I felt like I could help make a difference in the lives of the people that come to PHF seeking the same thing I did.
These days my focus is power lifting. If it’s heavy, I will lift it and if I can’t, I just want to lift it even more. So I keep working until the weight moves the way I want it to. I don’t give up, not on myself and not on the amazing people that walk through our doors. I work hard to achieve what I want.
When you take my classes, I don’t expect that you will be the best, the fastest, or the strongest. I do expect that you will try your best and that you will work hard. Change is difficult. The results you will get from making these changes and pushing yourself to do more and get outside of your comfort zone will payoff huge in the future. Trust me. I’ve seen it happen here, over and over again.
